“On March 25th, 2020, Governor of Colorado, Jared Polis issues Executive Order D 2020-017, which directs all Coloradans to stay at home, subject to limited exceptions such as going to and from work at critical businesses.”
In that moment, Jared Polis revealed his authoritarianism.
This is how a police state begins:
- Panic! Suddenly, a new foe appears threatening the community.
- Fear takes over the brains of many individuals, the media fans the flames, presenting wild scenarios and massive death.
- Disruptions to daily life begin, buyers rush to pickup essential items, creating bare shelves, causing more panic.
- Politicians claim they can solve the problem! They can save us all!
- Rights, Freedoms, and basic liberties are infringed.
- Individuals rationalize the new found powers of the gov’t, deriding anyone who questions the benign ruling class.
And that’s where we are now folks.
The gov’ner thinks he can save us all from disease, despair, and death.
Little does he know… his policies are going to cause more disease, more despair, and more death.
Of that, we can be certain.
Thousands are out of work, businesses are shuttering left and right, and new gov’t programs burden the taxpayers.
When the people are panicked, and when fear overrides their critical thinking, the people willingly accept slavery.
