Dems

On Wednesday May 12th, 2021, Colorado Democrats in the State Legislature showed their support for Vaccine Passports when they voted down HB21-1191.

House Bill 1191, “Prohibit Discrimination COVID-19 Vaccine Status” was introduced by Rep. Kim Ransom (R-Douglas), and Rep. Tonya Van Beber (R-Weld).

The Colorado Legislative Staff describes the bill as follows:

The bill prohibits discrimination based on COVID-19 vaccine status and prevents the state from mandating vaccine compliance.

After 8 hours of testimony, the bill was defeated at 10:46 PM by an 8-5 vote along Party Lines. (You can listen to the entire committee meeting here)

Democrat Reps. Jennifer Bacon (D-Denver), Dominique Jackson (D-Arapahoe), Karen McCormick (D-Boulder), Kyle Mullica (D-Adams), David Ortiz (D-Arapahoe), Brianna Titone (D-Jefferson), Yadira Caraveo (D-Adams), Susan Lontine (D-Denver/Jefferson) all voted against the bill.

Republican Reps. Mark Baisley (R-Douglas/Teller), Tim Geitner (R-El Paso), Ron Hanks (R-Chaffee/Custer/Fremont/Park), Matt Soper (R-Delta/Mesa), Dave Williams (R-El Paso) all voted in favor of the bill.

The honorable attempt by Colorado’s Republicans cannot be discounted.

The evil actions by Colorado’s Democrats to support vaccine passports must not be forgotten.

These legislators have spit in the face of Coloradoans.

Freedom is under attack, now more than ever.

And Colorado’s Democrats are on the side of Authoritarianism and Tyranny.

SHAME ON THEM!

And shame on Jared Polis and Michael Hancock who are encouraging this divisive attack on every individual in Colorado.

Tyranny is on the wrong side of history.

Those of us who believe in freedom must stand up, speak out, and disobey.
