Colorado’s 2023 Legislative Session was the most extreme anti-liberty Legislature in recent memory.
Bills that attacked our gun rights, parental rights, and property rights were introduced throughout the session.
Colorado Democrats used their super-majority in the State House to push their authoritarian agenda.
However, Republicans fought back with the tools at their disposal.
Having bills read at length, offering endless amendments, dragging out debate for hours, and walking out on the last day of the session.
One of the Liberty Leaders to emerge this year was Rep. Ken DeGraaf (House District 22 – El Paso County).
Rep. DeGraaf introduced Pro-Liberty Legislation to defend our Second Amendment Protections, eliminate Civil Asset Forfeiture, and combat the State’s “Green Agenda.”
Rep. DeGraaf’s efforts earned him an “A” rating from Liberty Scorecard Colorado, making him one out of only two legislators to earn an “A” rating.
