Colorado Property Tax in 2023 – Part 4 – Which Counties are Still Protected by TABOR?

Colorado’s Taxpayer Bill of Rights, or TABOR provides broad protection to taxpayers at every level of government.

Unfortunately, voters in the majority of Colorado counties have given up their TABOR protections.

If your county has TABOR protections, you need to defend it.

And if your county has given up TABOR, you need to work on getting those protections back.

This video is the fourth part of a series with Natalie Menten discussing Colorado’s Property Tax situation in 2023.

This year, legislators and their pro-government activists are trying to convince voters to give up their TABOR refunds so that money can reimburse governments for minor property tax relief.

A key takeaway from our video series is that property taxes can be lowered without giving up your tax refunds!

Proposition HH must be defeated in November.
