The Wolf Reintroduction Program has been a disaster.
The cost to taxpayers is double what voters were told it would be when it was approved in 2020 and livestock are being killed as ranchers lose their livelihood.
And to add insult to injury, Governor Jared Polis recently blamed ranchers for the high cost of the program!
Unfortunately, Jared’s anti-rancher attitude is not surprising.
His husband, a vegan, has been a vocal critic of ranching, even getting into arguments on Facebook with local ranchers.
And of course Jared was promoting “fake meat,” even claiming that the future will be “fewer meats and more profits.”
