Can Denver Avoid a Doom Loop? Crime, Homelessness, Affordability & an Anti-Business City Council are leading Denver to it’s Demise!

It’s not surprising that Denver is struggling with a variety of problems.

Businesses and families are leaving the city due to the lack of affordability, the crime and the bad policies of the City Council.

Denver might be entering a “doom loop.”

A doom loop is when a city loses their tax revenue, and is then unable to maintain basic infrastructure, leading to more people and businesses to leave the city, only making the revenue problem worse.

We’ve seen all the signs of a doom loop in Denver: A slowdown in revenue, gangs and homelessness pushing people away from public spaces, a lack of opportunity for entrepreneurs, and declining school enrollment.

So what can be done to stop this downward spiral?

In the video, Brandon explores some ideas. Please let me know what you think!
