Interview: Robert Ballard, Mesa County Clerk & Recorder Candidate, Libertarian Party of Colorado

Ballard-Interview

Mesa County’s Clerk and Recorder’s office has been embroiled in controversy over the past two years, losing trust from voters in the county, and across Colorado.

Robert Ballard intends to restore this trust.

With a focus on accountability, integrity, and community engagement, Ballard is the Libertarian Party of Colorado (LPCO) candidate for Mesa County Clerk & Recorder in 2022.

Focused on Service to the Community, Ballard has served in the National Guard for 13 years, and even received the key to the City of Montrose in 2015 for helping a resident out of her burning house.

Ballard is also an entrepreneur, instructing residents in the Grand Valley in firearm safety and effective use, through his own company he started in 2015, EmRe Training.

Offering voters a choice other than the Tyrannical Two Parties, Ballard’s appearance on the fall ballot is sure to draw interest.

Robert Ballard joined me to discuss his background, how he became a Libertarian, why he is running for office, and how he intends to lead the Clerk & Recorder office when he is elected.
