How to Use the Colorado Open Records Act (CORA) to Investigate Governments and Get Documents!

Did you know that you can request documents, communications, and expenditures from every government in Colorado?

The Colorado Open Records Act, CORA allows you to submit information requests and requires the government to provide a response within three days.

In this video, Valerie Leal discusses how CORA and Colorado’s Sunshine Laws allow the public to know what’s happening in their government.

  1. Hi Brandon,
Watching your YouTube with Jessica Fenske. I had no idea about the recent bills Polis has signed giving drivers licenses to illegal immigrants. The automatic’s opt-in Co for voter registration is genius on Polis’ part 🤬

I was pretty shocked about the Polis/Griswold blatant interference with our Colorado elections. I sure hope we move away from dominion voting machines and adopt Florida’s process.

I always look up leadership in shady companies. I noticed the CEO of the Rose Foundation used to work for Hickenlooper— big surprise.
Thank you for all of your great work!
