“A Sheriff Works for the People,” Weld Sheriff Candidate Talks Community Engagement, Role of Office

A Sheriff is elected by the people, not selected by the government.

That’s why it’s so important to elect someone who understands that their role as Sheriff is to listen to their community and ensure their rights are protected while holding criminals accountable.

Matt Turner has been with the Weld County Sheriff’s Office since 2012, and now he’s running for Sheriff.

Matt understands the important role a Sheriff serves in their community and the value of standing up for the rights of the people.

In this video, Matt talks about his experience, his plans if elected and shares his skepticism of automated speed cameras.
