Colorado’s Democratic Socialists of America (DSA) won big with the defeat of longtime Congresswoman Diana DeGette.
The June Primary election saw 29-year-old Melat Kiros, a radical, far-left, anti-Israel socialist win her election and poised to be Colorado’s newest Congressional Representative.
Many political pundits thought DeGette was going to win because her campaign and supporters spent more supporting her and of course DeGette has 30-years of name recognition.
But, the DSA had a team of volunteers who knocked on over 100,000 doors and made over 500,000 phone calls to Denver voters.
This organization and mobilization of volunteers made the difference.
Liberty-minded Coloradans can learn from this victory.
If we want to create a Free State, then we need to know how the DSA was able to win.
