Interview: Jon Caldara, What Happened to Colorado?

Colorado is a unique and beautiful place.

It’s a place where people come to start over and live the life of their dreams.

People come to Colorado to be free. Free of the past, and free of the old communities they came from.

So, why has Colorado lost so much freedom in the past decade?

To answer that question, I was joined by Jon Caldara.

Jon has been involved for decades in Colorado’s political scene. As President of the Independence Institute, Jon has been fighting against government bullies and standing up for Coloradan’s economic and personal freedom.

You may have heard him on the radio, watched his program on PBS, or read his weekly column for Colorado Politics.

In this video, Jon explains how the Left gained power over Colorado’s political institutions and how Liberty can win.

  1. Too late. I was very active in my county R Party for a decade until about 6 years ago. I told them (mostly Romney/McCain or theocrat statists) that the party needed to be more consistent on issues of liberty if they wanted to win in this state, and doing so was the right thing.. In other words, STHU about weed and gays, and take the “hearts and minds” approach to the A word. Obviously, they were having none of it. Now, as more people have moved here from more authoritarian states like CA, and more government school indoctrinated people have reached voting age, critical dumb mass is impacting. The numbers are insurmountable for at least a few generations. Sorry, Jon.
