All the Vail resort restaurants require vax pass. You can. Walk through the hotels without a mask, you ride in the gondola, stand in ski lines and eat and indecently own restaurants. But if you want to eat on the mountain, a vax pass is require. Literally a clown world.
Excellent. The power of the purse. Search out jobs boards for companies hiring unvaccinated people. Support the good guys. No Vax Mandate dot org, just to name one. We are under no obligation moral or otherwise to consume for profit pharmaceutical products. Petty tyrants can go broke, we don’t care about their businesses or reputations. The free world is for the brave.
Now where to find a new T shirt brand as Dickies mandated employee vaccinations. It’s the chain stores and mass product sourcing which is going to be the most difficult and expensive to replace. We’ll just jump off the supply chain all together and shop at the thrift store more. Best deals in town and you find a lot of made in USA gear which others left in closets for decades. Better quality and still holds up, sometimes still brand new. We walk out of there with entire carts of clothes and gear for a hundred or two hundred dollars. When I need replacement tech I go to ebay and buy the same item I’ve enjoyed for decades already, no upgrades required and no privacy concerns, no worries about planned obsolescence. Old tech is good tech. Some of us have been boycotting these systems of control for longer than many of the younger crowd has been alive. In search of ad free spaces.
High end restaurants can take a hike anyways, fixin to throw another rack of ribs on the grill tonight! Because we bulk buy, have a big deep freezer, hedge purchase when on sale, and know how to operate a propane bbq, we eat those rib eyes and high quality meals regularly, always something new. Extra sauces, high end spices, unlimited quality beers, top shelf night caps, garden fresh non gmo organic accompaniments from our own garden. Food we can trust. Chilling and smoking. Our lives. Our rules.
Illusions of control, independence is earned not given. Nobody can hand out independence, and you can not vote for it, one has to earn it ones self on a personal basis. Ignore those pushing mandates and hurt them by supporting the competition instead. Tighten the belt, save for a rainy day, never accept defeat. Stop wasting money at bars and luxury establishments, especially in the city. Boycott the entire city and county of Denver, as those individual instances are products of the social environment, symptoms of a larger problem.
