There are moments that can change the direction of our lives.
For Matt Alexander, one of those moments was seeing what was happening in the school where his child attended.
But Matt didn’t complain, instead he got involved.
That’s what lead him to serving on the Canon City School Board, where he helped increase parental involvement and pushed back against bad policies.
Now, Matt is taking the next step and running for the State Legislature in House District 60.
This seat is held by Rep. Stephanie Luck, one of Colorado’s Liberty Leaders in the Legislature who decided not to run for office again.
Matt has been endorsed by Rep. Luck and would bring a strong Pro-Liberty voice to the State Capitol in Denver.
In this interview, Matt explains why he is running for office, what issues are important to him and his business experience that is much need in the Legislature.
