Standing up to Governor Polis & Protecting the Western Slope

Colorado’s mountain communities have been under attack from the State Government and the Federal Government.

Now, local government is standing up to protect the way of life in these western slope communities.

Sean Pond is a Montrose County Commissioner, and he has a plan to stop invasive species from harming his community.

Ordinance 2025-01 Prohibits Non-Native Animal Species, Including Gray Wolves.

As Commissioner Pond explains, these Canadian Gray Wolves are very different from the wolves that used to roam Colorado. They are in fact a non-native species.

In this video, Commissioner Pond explains the ordinance, and discusses the continuing threats to Colorado’s rural western slope communities, and what he is trying to do to stand up for the people who call Montrose County home.
