Interview: Wayne Harlos on the Libertarian Party of Colorado Suing Secretary of State Jena Griswold

Has Colorado Secretary of State Jena Griswold broken Federal law?

Has Griswold been violating the National Voter Registration Act (NVRA)?

The NVRA requires that the Secretary of State “conduct(s) a general program that makes a reasonable effort to remove … from the official lists of eligible voters,” those who have either died or changed addresses.

Judicial Watch alleges that Griswold has failed to adhere to this Federal law.

In their lawsuit, they argue that “forty of Colorado’s 64 counties—or 62% of the total number – had registration rates exceeding 100%.

And that, “The percentage of Colorado counties with registration rates exceeding 100% was the highest in the nation.”

According to Judicial Watch’s math, Colorado has too many voters registered than actually live here.

In October of 2022, the Libertarian Party of Colorado (LPCO) joined the lawsuit as a co-plaintiff.

Wayne Harlos is the Chairman of the LPCO, and he joined me to discuss the lawsuit, and the efforts of the LPCO to stand up for Colorado voters.
