The city of Denver is spending $3 million of taxpayer money on a campaign telling people to change their behavior in order to change the climate.
And as you may know, Denver is facing a $200 million “budget gap,” and will begin laying off employees in August.
To make matters worse, some of what taxpayers are paying for includes messaging that says, “Eat Less Meat,” “Eat More Plant-Based Meals,” “Vote for climate-conscious leaders.”
It’s a propaganda campaign that tells people not to shop in Denver, not to buy Colorado beef, and to vote for politicians who will further drag the city down.
After pushback from the media & public, the city of Denver actually removed some of these controversial messages from their website.
The city and government in general are able to be influenced by the public and the media.
That’s the lesson that we can learn from this fiasco.

Heading to Costco to pick up a pack of ribeyes now.
It’s the weekly routine.
Love it!
