Colorado Taxpayer Money Paid for “Grassroots” Organizing Campaign to Build Support for CoCo Train!

Political consultants, including several former State Legislators cashed big checks paid for by taxpayers earlier this year.

Leading up to this year’s election, at least $1.4 million was paid to manufacture “grassroots” support for the massive new train scheme.

Now, voters have a ballot question, 7A, which would raise sales taxes along the front range to fund this scheme.

Natalie Menten, one of Colorado’s Liberty Leaders and a leading Taxpayer Advocate was able to get the check register for the Front Range Passenger Rail District (FRPRD).

Natalie found that consulting companies, several of which either employ former legislators or are otherwise politically-connected were paid good money to mobilize community members to write letters to the editor, show up a city council meetings and otherwise manufacture “grassroots” support for the FRPRD and it’s train scheme.

To make matters worse, some of these former legislators voted for the creation of the FRPD back in 2021 and are now being financially rewarded!

In this video, Natalie exposes the reality of government and the cronies who “feed at the through” of taxpayer funds. There is a network or web of consultants and political allies who seem to live off the taxpayer dollar.
