Can a politician effectively represent millions of people?
It doesn’t seem like it!
How about hundreds of thousands of people?
I don’t think so!
Tens of thousands?
That’s getting closer!
Political dissatisfaction is at a high-point and I can’t help but think that a system in which one person is supposed to represent a very large group of constituents is doomed to fail.
Coloradans, and people across the country are rightly concerned that the politicians elected to represent them don’t do a very good job.
And this year, it seems that two Colorado Counties are going to vote on increasing the number of Commissioners from three to five.
In this video, I explore the idea of representation and consider the possibility that the system in our country and state has too many constituents for each elected official.
