If we want to answer these questions, then it’s important to realize that many Coloradans need to start supporting Pro-Liberty policies and stop support Authoritarian policies.

A tool called the Overton Window can be a useful guide to examine the public’s support of policy goals.

Briefly, the Overton Window “is typically defined as the range of subjects and arguments—public ideas—politically acceptable to the mainstream population at a given time.”

Of course, Colorado’s Overton Window has dramatically changed for the past few decades.

Policies that would be considered unthinkable in the past are now in statute today.
