Why is crime such a problem in Colorado?
Because the Democrat-majority Legislature has been changing State Law to make it easier for criminals to avoid the consequences of their actions.
The reduction of criminal penalties has made Coloradans easy targets for criminals to steal our property and hurt our loved ones.
Now, a new court ruling is about to make things worse.
Colorado’s municipalities are being told they need to lower their criminal penalties to the standards set by the State.
This centralization of criminal justice policies means that municipalities will be unable to issue harsher penalties than what the state allows.
This of course means that criminal penalties in many of Colorado’s cities will be lessened, putting more criminals back on the streets.
This is bad news.
But things can change.
Colorado needs more good people to step up, speak out and become a leader in their community.
We can turn this around. But only if enough good people are willing to put in the work.
