Colorado Representative’s New Bill to Expand Food Freedom, Plus a Preview of the 2026 Legislature

In Colorado, it can be a challenge for a Pro-Liberty bill to pass the Legislature.

Of course, that’s because the Democratic Majority doesn’t like to expand Liberty, preferring to have more control over our lives.

Thankfully, we have some Pro-Liberty Republicans who are dedicated to expanding Liberty, even if they are only able to expand it by a small amount.

Colorado State Representative Ryan Gonzalez is once again sponsoring a bill to expand food freedom in Colorado.

Last year, his bill, HB25-1190 was killed in Committee by Democrat Legislators.

Since then, he’s been working to get a version of this bill ready for the 2026 Legislative Session that will pass.

In this video, Rep. Gonzalez discusses his bill, what’s changed from last year, and provides a preview of what might be coming in the 2026 Legislature.
