Colorado’s Historic Opportunity to Protect Kids in 2026 Can Only Happen With Enough Support

We are in a tough spot in Colorado.

Our State Legislature and Governor have no interest in protecting kids.

But thankfully, Colorado allows for citizens to place an initiative on the statewide ballot.

There are lofty requirements for the amount of signatures needed, but with enough support, it is possible to get a ballot measure in front of all Colorado voters.

Erin Lee and her team at Protect Kids Colorado have been putting in the work with around 1,500 volunteers to get enough signatures for three ballot measures in 2026.

They have a strong start, but they are going to need money for paid signature gatherers if they are going to succeed.

So often in Colorado we feel helpless to fight back against an Authoritarian Government that steamrolls over our Liberty.

Through the citizen initiative process, some of Colorado’s best laws have come to fruition, including the Taxpayer’s Bill of Rights (TABOR), Sunshine Laws, and income tax reductions.
