When it was announced that the parent company of KDVR Fox31 was buying the parent company of 9News, conservatives and libertarians across Colorado celebrated.
In the opinion of many on the Right, 9News has been a thinly-veiled front for a Left-wing agenda, helping Democrats win elections and challenging Republicans.
And yet, Jon Caldara, the President of the pro-liberty think-tank, the Independence Institute, urges caution, and recently wrote about why this consolidation of media is not a good thing.
Jon joined Brandon to discuss this shakeup to Colorado’s media landscape and also discussed the upcoming annual Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms Party the Independence Institute is hosting.
