Colorado Banned Soda, but wants SNAP/EBT, Food Stamps to be Spent on Fast Food?!

Colorado’s food stamps won’t be paying for soft drinks anymore.

That’s the good news…

The bad news is that Jared Polis and the State Legislature want food stamps to be accepted at restaurants across Colorado.

Not only that, but the upcoming Special Session will deal with a lack for federal funding for Colorado’s food stamp (SNAP) program.

Colorado taxpayers need to be aware of what the State Legislature has planned.
